5) How long will it take to hire an Asian nanny?
The lead time varies. Some sponsors get their approval from HRSDC to hire from abroad within two weeks. Depending on the work load of the HRSDC centre, it may take longer. After the approval is given it will take another 6 weeks or more for the Canadian High Commission in Singapore to issue the caregiver a visa. But an Asian nannyfrom Singapore is well worth the wait.
